These amazing arctic birds mate with the same partner each year and return to the same nesting burrow. They engage in a courtship display known as "billing," where they gently rub their beaks together. Both male and female puffins take turns incubating their single egg and caring for their chick, known as a puffling.

A beautiful greeting card from one of my watercolors is great for bird lovers, birders, and birdwatchers, as well as for birthdays and retirements.
