A watercolor I painted of the old Hotel in Whitehaven, Maryland in 1990. At that time the building was pretty much condemned and in a terrible state of repair. Investors purchased it in the mid-1990s and began restoration in 1997, reversing nearly 50 years of neglect and bringing this jewel of the Eastern Shore of Maryland back to its stately appearance. This is how it looks now: http://whitehavenhotel.com/ It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot that is so worth visiting. This painting is sold and in a private collection.
